So the January challenge is almost complete. The start of the month I was suffering from flu-like symptoms, the worse being my aching body. The Magnesium flakes were my saviour when I needed a hot relaxing bath to help ease the pain. The start of the month I wasn’t really feeling the benefits as best as I could, however once I was on the mend it was aiding my sleep pattern by relaxing my muscles before bed. Magnesium ensures GABA receptors in the brain and nervous system are working properly, allowing the brain the switch off for a good nights sleep. I have swapped my bath bombs for flakes since resting so much better. The BetterYou products live on my sink now I’m using them daily. I’m terrible at remembering to take supplements so this has been handy as they fit in with my normal routine. As I cleanse my face I just quickly pop the body butter on while I’m already getting ready for bed. One of the benefits of magnesium is that it can help relieve stress and anxiety, unfortunately this hasn’t been the case in my experience. However, it’s only been a few weeks and I have been suddenly struck with high stress issues, so I couldn’t expect a miracle.
